Wi-Fi bulbs have no major downsides as long as you only have a few of them. That means you can control them from anywhere (even outside of your home) without any extra equipment. WiZ bulbs connect through Wi-Fi rather than Bluetooth or Zigbee, so they don’t require a bridge.
